One modest step forward, who knows how many steps back?
All that’s left after Canada was convincingly eliminated 83-62 by Croatia at the Olympic men’s basketball qualifying tournament in Athens yesterday is the postmortem.
Three years ago, Canada finished a dismal ninth out of 10 teams at the Tournament of the Americas. Last summer, it improved to fifth against the same field, earning the opportunity to compete for a spot in the Beijing Summer Games at a last-chance tournament with 12 teams challenging for three positions.
The Canadians didn’t get it done – not even close, really. But having the chance to play into the Olympics is not to be scoffed at, given the low ebb the team was at not long ago.
I guess this isn’t our game. The funny thing is that the sport was created by a Canadian.

I have been working a lot, which makes me want to sleep more when I get home, which has resulted in a huge lack of posts for DannyPress. Bare with me until things calm down.

Dan Boyle has signed his “no-trade” waiver and has agreed to a trade to the San Jose Sharks.
In return for the 31-year old veteran defenceman and defenceman Brad Lukowich, Tampa will receive a package that includes defencemen Matt Carle, Ty Wishart, a first round selection in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft and a fourth round selection in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. Full Story
This was a surprise. I didn’t think that San Jose would take him after they signed Blake, but I guess they want to act like they are going to win it all again. In my opinion they gave up more than they received, especially in the long run.

I have decided to stop doing my song & link segment and replace it with a new link sharing segment called “Links of Awesomeness”. It was just to annoying trying to find a song on youtube every time I wrote one of the posts. This change should make me feel like posting links a lot more frequently now.

I found this sexy Italian singer at AskMen.com, and I was so impressed that I thought that I would take the time to find some hot pictures to share with you.
If anyone out there think that you could be a potential suitor, thing again, because she’s engaged. Some Italian singer named Gigi D’Alessio snagged her, but Gigi is a pussy name, so they won’t last.
But who cares about him, lets look at some hot pictures
